Providing an effective space for a team entails more that sitting the individuals on a team next to one another.
Team spaces come in all different shapes and sizes. In order to enhance a group's effectiveness, the design of their space must contemplate the team's objectives, processes, and people on the team. There are numerous factors to consider that will help a team be successful such as supporting communication and collaboration, sharing storage, providing easy access to group tools and resources, flexibility, and of course, accessibility to team members.
Teams that work well together are able to accurately and quickly transfer information, reduce decision-making time, learn from one another, and effectively get the job done.
A well-designed team environment can help make that happen.
