FiberNet Telecom Group is a leading provider of metropolitan optical connectivity. They offer telecom carriers access to 100% fiber optic transmission networks in major cities for hotels and select Class A commercial office buildings.

Project Summary
FiberNet wanted to broaden its influence beyond the New York City market and better serve their customers. They determined that consolidating multiple offices into one facility and designing a space that would support their intensive technology requirements would help them achieve this goal.

The facility itself needed to be very flexible to accommodate change. The furniture and architectural products needed to integrate with the building's architecture as well as the company's technology. In addition, a Network Operations Center (NOC) was to be incorporated into the space so that FiberNet could improve how they monitored existing networks. The NOC presented some unique challenges due to the need for employees to interact with multiple electronic tools within their work areas, while maintaining constant visual access to large display monitors installed in the space.

Project Scope

•	Collaborate with Grad Associates and FiberNet to develop workstation typicals using V-spec software.
•	Provide custom trader desks to incorporate four flat screen monitors per station for the Network Operations Center (NOC).
•	Select furnishings that would reflect the company's image.
•	Provide products that would support technology and flexibility requirements.
•	Plan, specify, provide, deliver and install new furniture products.
